NEW MEMBER

hI EVERYONE,I,m John,live in middleton and ride a 59 plate cb1300,and love it. I decided yo see if we ( the ODDFELLOWS MOTORCYCLE GROUP) could put together a forum where we could all share our biking experences and love of it.maybe have rideouts that could be posted on here and organize rallies meeting and the like.And this is what I have come up with,its an ongoing thing and still being tweaked,so please feel free to make any suggestions,ideas know to me or any of the members and help make the forum as good as we all can.Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you all enjoy using the forum.John.

Hi Alistair,and welcome to the forum.We are a new group and still learning how to do things so you are not alone in having issues with this site,lol. We meet at the pub first tuesday of the month at 8-00pm,just to have a chin wag and decide if we are having a ride out and where we are going,we try to get out most sundays,weather permitting,we are all a bit soft when it comes to staying dry.lol. We are supposed to be having a ride to Matlock tomorrow,07/04/.numbers will depend on the weather as I have said,if its not to plessent we tend to stay reasonably close to home,and you are most welcome to join us.Once again welcome from all of us and I look forward to reading your post ad maybe meeting up with you,all the best, John.

Thanks for the welcome John! For the moment I am on assignment in Avonmouth and spend all week down there so unfortunately |I wont be able to join you on Tuesday nights for a while. I saw the post about tomorrows run daughters up from London for Easter which might make it difficult to sneak out ;-) But if I can I will.

No worries about the meeting mate,as and when you can.The ride out should be Matlock,but if the weather is not to good we try to stay a bit closer to home.The landlord of the pub always pins a note on the pubs front door if there are any changes for anyone who misses the start time, so they know where we have gone.So hope you can make the ride out,its always nice to meet like minded people,but if you cant make it,keep an eye on the site for other trips out.Cheers .John.
